SBI Examinations are held every year under the category of SBI Probationary Officers Test. The Central Recruitment Board of State Bank of India conducts this exam annually.

SBI PO Exam Details:
The exam is divided into two stages. On the basis of performance in both the Phase I and Phase II of the SBI Probationary Officers Test accounts to the selection of the candidate.
Phase I includes a 225 question Objective Test in the above mentioned subjects with negative marking system for each incorrect answer. Along with this a Descriptive Type Test of English Language is also conducted on a question-cum-answer-sheet with no negative markings.
Phase II begins with shortlisting of candidates. The examinees who qualify on merit basis in the Phase I SBI examination are then called for a Group Discussion and Interview. On the basis of the end results of this Interview, the candidate is selected.

The results of Phase I of the SBI examinations are displayed online. On the basis of merit the selected candidates then are called for the GD and interview rounds.

The results of State Bank of India Examination to be held on 6th July would be declared online containing the list of shortlisted candidates to appear for the interview. The final selection list will also be available on the SBI Website and can be downloaded from there.
