Gurgaon Housing and Development Authority, a subsidiary of HUDA (Haryana Urban Development Authority) has been mainly responsible for transforming a small unknown village into one of the most industrially developed and promising cities in northern India. Today, Gurgaon is one of the most important cities in India with strong industrial base and educational centers. Call it an industrial and commercial hub or residential zone, Gurgaon has it all. The same lottery schemes will again start for the year 2012-13. Forms need to be filled up properly and deposited within due date. The housing scheme promises to offer affordable apartment at subsidized rates. Construction as well as designs for these projects are as per international standards. HUDA has also collaborated with JNNURM to develop the overall infrastructure of Gurgaon. Focusing on the basic amenities like water and electricity, road development, flyovers, subways, highway construction, more free education as well medical facilities, and trying to keep the city clean and green are major lookouts of HUDA. A lot of projects concerning these issues are coming up. Improving and introducing basic amenities at slums and dwells are a major concern. Several initiatives have been taken for the improvement process. In fact, every single effort has been taken to improve the life of people residing in Gurgaon, rich or poor. And HUDA has been successful.

For Center Government employees, some very effective housing projects are under construction. One such housing project is coming up at Sector-70, next to Golf Course Ext. Road. Two luxury residential projects are coming up in this part of the city. Any center government employee (working or retired) can apply for it. Per Square Foot rate for apartments are in between 5,750 & 6,250 INR approximately. However, rates are negotiable. The project just launched in the month of July, 2012.
