Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) has given yet another great news for the residents of Virar and Vasai, Mumbai. Mhada is likely to conduct another lottery sometime near Diwali 2013. Earlier, Mhada was supposed to include flats for Virar and Vasai in the Mhada Lottery 2013 itself that was scheduled to end on 31st May 2013. However, due to some technical issues, those flats would not included in the lottery.
Mhada officials have now confirmed that they have got the approval from the Vasai Virar municipal corporation and soon they are likely to come up with the second Mhada lottery for 2013.

Total Number of Rooms / Flats for sale : 2454
The area of the rooms ( flats ) for this upcoming lottery are yet to be announced and the approximate price per square feet seems to be Rs. 3,200. This price however is not the final quote and might change by the time the lottery comes.
Vice President of Mhada itself has confirmed the 2nd Mhada lottery and this will be the first time that the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority will come up with two lotteries in a single year.
This year would definitely be a bumper year in terms of lottery given the fact that after the May lottery of Mhada, CIDCO’s lottery would be coming up soon and then around Diwali, Mhada again would be lighting up the fireworks with another Mhada 2013 lottery.
