The housing and plannig authority of Punjab, PUDA, has launced a new scheme on 11th Feb 2013. Under this scheme, PUDA will allocate plots to the residents in two locations, namely Old Jail Site and one of the
sites near Army Cantonment in Kapurthala.

The Punjab Urban Planning and Development Authority has decided that under PUDA Scheme 2013, it will offer residential plots of areas between 150 square yards and 250 square yards.

At the same time, the breakup of the allotment rate will be between Rs. 11,000 and Rs. 12,500 respectively per square yard.

PUDA has stated that the name of the scheme would be PUDA Kapurthala plots Scheme 2013 and under this scheme they will offer a total of 145 residential plots to continue with its aim of
providing low cost housing to the people.

Some of the important dates that the applicants need to take into consideration are –

1. 18th March 2013 is the last date for the application form submission.

2. 15th April 2013 is the date when the draw results would be announced.

To make the availability of the forms easier, PUDA has stated that the applicants can take the form from some of the authorised branches of the top banks in India. These include the names of HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank and SBI bank in Punjab and Haryana.
