Bank of Baroda Recruitment

Recently, an ad has come over the newspapers and the Internet about Bank of Baroda recruitment. This is a latest ad and if you consider yourself eligible for any one of the respective posts then you are welcome. Now this advertisement of Bank of Baroda recruitment is like this: Bank of Baroda has invited applications from Indian nationals so that they can be offered posts of Specialist Officers as per MMG Scale-2.

Regarding the vacancies, the ad says that currently 125 posts are available for Specialist Officers. The eligibility criteria are as follows: The lower age limit is 21 years while upper age limit is 37 years maximum as on 1st May 2012. In case of Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Tribes, the age relaxation is 5 years while for Other Backward Castes the age relaxation is 3 years and for PWD it is 10 years.

The various jobs are as under:-

  1. Technical- You should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering in any one of the disciplines in addition to an MBA degree specializing in Finance. Having computer literacy will be an added advantage in this case especially if you are familiar with the basics of MS Office.

  2. Human Resource Management- Here you should hold an MBA or PGDM degree of 2 years from a recognized University or Institute. In addition to that, having a post graduate degree in social work will be an added advantage.

  3. Credit- Here also, MBA degree is required but in the field of finance, banking, cost accountancy and all.

  4. Risk Management- For risk management post, you should have MBA and post graduate degree in finance & risk management respectively.

  5. Foreign Exchange (FOREX)/Treasury- Here you are required to be a Masters Degree holder in Treasury, Banking, Finance, Cost accountancy or International trade.

  6. Security- The eligibility criterion for the post of security is the simplest of all. You simply need to be a graduate degree holder from an acknowledged/recognized university. That’s it.

The application fee will vary from Rs. 50/- to Rs. 200/- depending on your caste. You are required to apply online through their official website. This is the only mode of application that you are allowed to use. After submitting your online application you are required to take out a hard copy of the system generated application form. You should sign it and preserve it for appearing in the interview. You should also have a valid email id that will be required by the bank authorities to communicate with you to inform you about the date of conducting written test and personal interview. Once you clear the interview, you can be 99% sure about your recruitment.
