Madhya Pradesh is located at the centre of India and is considered as the largest state of India. Madhya Pradesh Housing Board (MPHB) emerged as an autonomous body under Madhya Pradesh Griha Nirman Mandal Adhiniyam in 1972. It does not receive any kind of subsidy from the government, but is still doing great by helping people to live a better life. Since 1972, its financial investment in housing and construction has almost reached Rs 2000 Crores. Its construction of 6000 houses and 10000 plots for real estate business shows its major contribution towards a better state. It is engaged in construction and development of houses and commercial areas for all sections of society at an affordable cost.
Madhya Pradesh Housing Board works with the aim of providing the best services to the people all over the state. Cities like Indore, Gwalior and Jabalpur are continuously developing economically with the expansion of residential and commercial sectors. Bhopal being the capital of the state, has been the centre of attraction. There have been several projects and schemes offered by it. These include MPHB Self-Financing Housing Scheme Banmore, Morena which offered 44 EWS Multistoried Residential Flats on Self-Financing. Second is MPHB Self-Financing Housing Scheme Moraha Colony, Chhatarpur offering 42 EWS and 57 Lower Income Group Multistoried Residential Flats on Self-Financing.
Third is the MPHB Self-Financing Housing Scheme Kunwarpura Colony, Tikamgadh providing 127 EWS Multistoried Residential Flats on Self-Financing. Fourth is MPHB Self-Financing Housing Scheme Deendayalpuram, Dhar which provided 36 Lower Income Group and 3 Middle Income Group Multistoried Residential Flats on Self-Financing. Fifth is MPHB Self-Financing Housing Scheme Bagdun, Pithampur that offered 27 LIG and 12 MIG Multistoried Residential Flats on Self-Financing. Sixth is MPHB Self-Financing Housing Scheme Palkamti Nagar, Itarsi offering 132 EWS Multistoried Residential Flats on Self-Financing. Seventh is the MPHB Self-Financing Housing Scheme Sivani Malwa, Hoshangabad that provided 34 EWS Multistoried Residential Flats on Self-Financing.
Eighth is the MPHB Self-Financing Housing Scheme Mansarovar Colony, Katni which offered 5 HIG Multistoried Residential Flats on Self-Financing. Ninth is MPHB Self-Financing Housing Scheme Manglipeth, Sivani offering 255 EWS, 37 Middle Income Group, and 4 MIG Delux Multistoried Residential Flats on Self-Financing. Tenth is the Tulsi Nagar, Bhopal that provided Multistoried Residential Flats.
Madhya Pradesh Housing Board is committed to build houses and housing sites for people and provide them other facilities like provision for education, health and cultural activities, office and public utility complexes. It helps in the infrastructural development of the whole state by using eco-friendly materials and technology. It has helped the sufferers by developing rehabilitation projects for the victims of earthquake.
